Green monkeys live in West Africa, are highly social and usually live in groups with distinct social hierarchy. Green monkeys are known to heavily invest in their offspring, with mothers taking care of their young for about a year before letting them venture out as individual adults. In the morning, young males are often seen to playfully fight, as in this photo.
