About

Celebrating Biodiversity

Welcome to the Wildlife Calendar 2025: Celebrating Biodiversity, a unique collaboration dedicated to the beauty and diversity of our planet’s ecosystems. This project was conceived by passionate nature lover Randall Lanier, who envisioned a calendar that not only captures the breathtaking splendor of wildlife but also serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving our natural world.

To bring this vision to life, Randall enlisted the expertise of acclaimed nature photographer and biodiversity advocate Hugo Weenen, whose stunning images highlight the richness and variety of life on Earth. Together with Dillon Lanier, a skilled website builder, they created a comprehensive online resource that provides in-depth background information on the species featured in this calendar and the ecosystems they inhabit.

We invite you to join us on this journey through the wonders of nature, as we celebrate the extraordinary biodiversity that makes our planet so remarkable. Explore the stories behind each photograph and learn more about the vital role each species plays in maintaining the delicate balance of our environment.
